The 2009 IEEE Biomedical Circuits and Systems Conference (BioCAS 2009) that is taking place in Beijing, China is the 4^th in series of very successful conferences organised under the auspices of the BioCAS technical committee of the IEEE Circuits and Systems Society. The mission of BioCAS is to bring together scientist, engineers and medical researchers and practitioners from all over the world to meet, discuss cutting-edge research and exchange innovative idea in the area of biomedical circuits and systems. This year has witnessed the submission of total 118 papers from 26 countries and a total of 59 papers were accepted including my paper and it gave me the tremendous opportunity to share my PhD research findings.

Ada beberapa perkara yang perlu dikongsi:

1. Jangan jadikan alasan bahasa Inggeris sebagai bahasa kedua untuk kita tidak maju dan tercicir! Sangat mengkagumkan, kerana hampir 95% kertas kerja yang diterima adalah penulisnya bukan berasal sebagai penutur bahasa Inggeris sebagai bahasa pertama!
2. Pengalaman menyaksikan pembentang dari negara Jepun dan China sangat membuktikan sikap rajin dan komited mereka adalah kunci kejayaan!
3. Mereka kebanyakan dari universiti tersohor dunia! Stanford, MIT, John Hopkins [USA], Ecole Polytechnique Montreal [Canada], Tsinghua University, Hong Kong University Science and Technology [China], Imperial College, Edin [UK], [Jepun], [Eropah - Jerman, Perancis] dan aku membawa bendera Brunel + UTHM + Malaysia [hehe perasan plak] - satu latihan membina keyakinan diri
